Respondents who spoke with our correspondent across the state, said , for the governor to absorbed such numbers of  rescue teachers into the state civil service, is an indication that the governor means well for the state.

Some of the rescue teachers who also bared their minds, said they would forever remain grateful to the governor.

" I must confess to you that in the history of this state, this is the first time a governor is absorbing such a huge numbers of workers into the state civil service. "

The teachers who craved anonymity , vowed to use the little available resources in their disposal to reciprocate the governor's gestures by not only taking their job serious,  but by ensuring that his political ambition is actualize in 2023.

Their letters of employment, as observed, was presented to them on behalf of the governor by the Executive Secretary, Taraba State Post-Primary Schools Management Board, Elder Danazumi Hassan.

Speaking shortly after the presentation,  the board, as stated by him,  will not hesitate to punish any  teacher  caught sabotaging government plans for  the state.

Stressing that it would no longer be business as usual,  the sacrifice made by the  governor, he said will not be taken for granted.

The decision of the government to absorbed  the teachers into the state civil  service, according to him, was to give them a sense of belonging thereby closing the gaps during the period under review.

While warning them not to abscond from their duty posts, the era when teachers took pleasures in hanging under trees when they ought to be in the four walls of the classrooms impacting knowledge on their  pupils and students,  he said, is gone.

Applauding the governor for his laudable achievements especially in the education sector, the board, as made  known by him will soon embark on visitations to secondary schools spread  across the nooks and crannies of the state  for the verification of the certificates of the newly engaged  teachers.

Believing that the governor's gesture would go a long way to address unemployment problems,  like Oliver Twist, the Executive Secretary , as noticed by Frontline News,  passionately appealed to the governor to extend olive branch to secondary school principals via the provision of car loan scheme to them.

The engagement of such numbers of teachers which was the first of it kind in the history of the state since its creation in 1991, would not only catapult education sector to the peak, but had as well gone as far as addressing the unemployment rate in the state.
